Hy4 Preview is a sparse model of 770 billion parameters with 49 billion active, released on 28 August under Apache 2.0, which is unusually permissive for a model this size. Tencent's own figures put it close to the leading Chinese open models on science and coding, but the independent leaderboards have not rated it yet, so its score here is cautious. It is text only and still labelled a preview.
