Nova Lite is Amazon's volume tier: multimodal, quick, very cheap, and billed through Bedrock like any other AWS line item. For classification, extraction and summarising inside an existing AWS estate it is the path of least resistance, and the price competes with anything. It is not the model to hand a hard problem, and the same lock-in applies as to the rest of the family.
